In order to learn about the subject we were learning about , we had to create a scrapbook and a interview. Also the purpose was to learn about a person in our family that experienced or lived during a historical event. the person I did my project on was my dad who experienced the gulf war. We also had to bring in 4 tools about the person we interviewed or anything like newspapers,books,Awards,Pictures or media from the time that the person experienced .You had to write captions for every picture that you brought. To learn form a witness we had to interview a person who experienced a historical event.

I learned A lot of things about my dad like when he got back how he had a foul mouth. Also I learned about the USS Independence and how my dad fixed up the airplanes. Also I learned about F-14s which were the planes that my dad fixed up are at least the ones that he talks about the most. I learned about the tomahawks which was one of the first guided missiles, and how the gulf war was on of the first “high-tech” war. I learned about my dads friends and also about my dad's captain. Also I learned about how my mom felt having my dad gone for so long.

Next time I would put a little more work into Interview,Scrapbook, and put more into finding more pictures in my scrapbook. Also i would have more of a detailed interview or more questions that have describe more.
