This quote shows how he always thinks about what might happen from his actions. He was invited to eat with "the cool kids" But he turned them down and now he is trying to go and sit down with them but he is trying to figure out how he can do this with out looking like a total fool.

Response:
I chose this quote because it shows how these boys spirit wouldn't be crushed. They wanted their people to be freed and they were singing a song that describes every thing that they will do.

Quote 1: I agree that people do have to think about the things that they do before they do it. But I think that your quote didn't have a big significance. But I think the logic of thinking before your actions is a good one to remind people of.
Answer 1: Sadly sometimes I don't and I regret it a lot. For example something simple, printing a final draft of something and forgetting to edit.
Quote 2: That is a very big meaning and I agree that it does show how much they cared for their country. But it is sad to know what is happening over there and the only way these kids think to end it is by war and killing.
Answer 2: I have, many times. About my family or an object that is valuable to me. I have stood up for I think is important to me.
