I chose this quote because it shows how they had many casualties in this war and the boys were curious about what the soldiers were doing. The solider guy was pretty calm with his answer back to William so he should consider himself lucky because maybe he could have got made and tried to shoot William.

Response:
I chose this quote because it shows he people can be ignorant sometimes. She asked them if they were in the genocide just because they are from Africa. It is an okay question but sometimes you need to be careful with what kind things you should say to somebody, because what if he lost somebody in his family to the genocide. He would be really sad.
